ABC garage door we use ABC garage door to put a new door on our garage. They did a fantastic job. They were reasonable in Price. Customer service was fantastic. They were on time highly recommend them. we live in Montgomery Village in in Europe we They seem to have a really good lock on all of the garage doors in the area. I can think of three or four of my neighbors that have used them and they are extremely pleased.

Torsion spring broke on a double door. 16'. Both cars inside and door too heavy to lift. Called 2 companies and ABC came first and said he had everything necessary to repair door. Agreed on price and gave him ok to start. He was able to raise door and we got our vehicles out. He had a terrible time lowering the door safely walking it down slowly using vice grips on each side wiggling it down one side at a time. Bending the rails. He got grips jammed in track, door and floor. He then used a hammer to try and dislodge grips while damaging roller bracket. When he got to torque bar, apparently could not get it out and did NOT have proper springs for replacements. Asked me if they could come back first thing in the morning and finish the job by replacing the torque bar and the reassembling of items. He up sold on rollers and cables. (All good- better parts, ok cost and no additional labor cost) Danny, the technician, said it was his birthday and had a party scheduled. No big deal, cars were now accessible so Ok. Kind of ... As he was leaving, he asked if they could come back 3-5 pm the next day instead of in the morning. I said no. I asked again when they would be coming. He said they would give me a call in the morning. I call them the next morning around 8am for an ETA and they said tech will call shortly . 9:00 the technician called saying he would be there in roughly 45 minutes. I asked if he had the parts and he said that the parts were already there. ????? No one called or came by? Caller Id had come up United garage door repair, not ABC. HMMM. He talked with mgr and asked me to look outside for parts. Sure enough. 8:45 am someone dropped off parts which we say on our RING doorbell. When tech arrives he's in a United garage truck, not ABC. I asked if they / ABC had subbed it out to their company. He confirmed it. So either ABC was not qualified to do the repairs or too busy for my job. Either way, no proper communication. The original tech, Danny from ABC was not capable or professional. Don't give false promises for work you can accomplish.
